Island Women

Following the success of our first two events, join us for another inspiring evening of uplifting stories from incredible women who live and work on our beautiful island. Enjoy great company, meaningful conversations and be inspired. Expect two hours of fascinating conversation, inspiring stories and great company in a stunning waterfront setting.

Wednesday July 8th, 7-9pm sees the next Island Women event at the Island Sailing Club in Cowes. Three amazing women will be in conversation with broadcaster Cheryl Buggy, who created the Island Women concept in order to celebrate the many inspiring women who live and work on the island.

As well as the live in-conversation events, there is also a series of free podcasts which are proving to be very successful. “I'm delighted that there have been many thousands of downloads for the podcasts and that the live events so far have been so well attended," says Cheryl. "It’s such a pleasure to be able to share these stories that are, without exception, fascinating and uplifting.”

The three women in the spotlight on the 8th will be:

- Becky McGregor - CEO of the Mountbatten Group
- Martha Henson - Director of the Isle of Wight UNESCO Biosphere Festival
- Laura Julian - Film Producer

All monies from ticket sales will be going to local charities.
