DJ Kacie

Hi! I’m Kacie, your host of The Thursday Disco. After a 10 year hiatus, I’ve found myself back at Vectis Radio. I’ve graduated from the 4Ps Project and landed my very own specialist music show, where disco, funk, soul, and the occasional wild card collide. Tune in for a mix of deep cuts, crate diggers, pop bangers, disco classics, and all the oldies your heart could ever dream of. Expect grooves, surprises and the comforting knowledge that yes, I am dancing by myself in the studio!

I bring a fresh and electric energy to every broadcast, blending sharp commentary with a music selection that often makes people assume I’m in my 60s. Spoiler - I’m a 23 year old girl with an old soul. Follow me on my journey navigating my early 20s and stay for the quick wit and chaotic tangents.
My passion for music and creativity shapes every episode. I’m not just spinning tracks; I’m building an experience and inviting you right into thick of it. Each show is a mix of enthusiasm and experimentation, but unmistakably mine. I hope to bring you laughs and maybe even a sprinkle of enlightenment. Tune in, turn it up, and discover something new every Thursday. I’ll catch you on the dance floor!
