Road closures
 


In Wroxall St John's Road both ways from Worsley Drive to Grove Road. Until 16:00 on 30th April.

In Freshwater Halletts Shute is closed from 08:00 on 20th April until 16:00 on 30th April for utility works. 
Local diversions will be signposted.

In Ventnor Southgrove Road from Macrocarpa Road to Grove Road. Until 16:00 on 5th February 2027.

In Newport Fairlee Road will be sclosed until Friday, 1st May, for new water and sewerage connection works to take place.

In Newport St George's Way traffic will run one-way for traffic between St George's Roundabout to Shide Road from Monday, 27th April, for an expected three weeks. All traffic in the opposite direction will be diverted via Shide Road and Medina Avenue to reach Newport.

Temporary Lights and Diversions

In Binstead on Binstead Road both ways between Ringwood Road (Binstead) and Thornbrough Close (Ryde). Expect delays. Until 0:00 on 29th May.

In Apse Heath on A3056 Newport Road both ways between Ventnor Road (Apse Heath) and Lake Industrial Way (Ninham). Expect delays. Until 0:00 on 5th June.

In Newport on Furrlongs both ways between Chiverton Walk and Staplers Road. Until 0:00 on 1st May

In Nettlestone on B3330 Nettlestone Hill both ways between Gregory Avenue (Nettlestone) and B3340 Seaview Lane (Seaview). Until 0:00 on 5th June.

There are plenty of other roadworks that are put in from time to time with no notice. Please take care.
