Kitty, Alan and Terry

The Weekday Afternoon Show is about our community. Many of them coming in from many charities and organisations. The music as ever features music from the late 50s to the present day. It’s a great way of finding what is happening our community and who knows… you could be the next guest!!
Kitty hails from the North originally and has been an honorary Southerner for many years now.
Prior to becoming a radio presenter , Kitty had a long and varied career in the NHS as a nurse.
On a personal note , Kitty likes cake , cats and the wonderful countryside of the Isle of Wight.
Alan is a born and bred caulkhead with a keen interest in history. In fact he lives in the past, listening to old records, watching black and white films and driving classic vehicles.
Alan joined the Vectis Radio family in 2024 in order to fulfil a lifetime ambition to have his own radio show. Growing up through the pirate radio era, his heroes were DJs like Kenny Everett, Johnnie Walker and Emperor Rosko.
He has a keen sense of humour and wants to bring something different and perhaps bizarre to the local radio airwaves
The Third member of the Monday afternoon team is Terry. Another graduate from our successful Adult Learning course. He originally lived in London and often visited the Isle of Wight prior to moving there. He is keen on gaming, nature, voice acting, retro media, and chatting about various topics. He has a famous Ex Millwall footballer Grandad .....
