Maggie Currie
THE WEEKEND BREAKFAST SHOW - 8-10AM - SATURDAY & SUNDAY

Maggie Currie was voted Volunteer of the Year at the National Community Radio Awards 2023. A huge accolade that she totally did not expect. She said that she loves volunteering and thoroughly enjoys presenting the shows and talking with a host of amazing guests and finding out so
much about them.
The Weekend Breakfast shows include pause for thought, a book review and of course loads of great music, including lots of local music too.
When Maggie is not on the air she loves working with people to help them rebuild their confidence in her capacity as an award winning professional Transformational Life Coach. She has spent the last 20 years working with people from all walks of life. Additionally Maggie is a distance learning tutor at the Blackford Centre helping students from all around the world gain their Life Coaching Diploma.
Maggie says:
I love volunteering with Vectis Radio and giving back to the community. Keeping people informed of what is happening and providing positive news stories is something I enjoy particularly as there is so much gloom and doom in the regular news. The VR family is supportive and inclusive and I enjoy working with other presenters and teaching the young people whilst learning new things myself.
