Island Highland Gathering

This much-anticipated event is back and promises a full day of family fun and entertainment, showcasing the vibrant culture and heritage of Scotland right on our beautiful island.
Join us for a lively celebration packed with Scottish music, dance, and fun arena events. Experience the thrill of falconry displays and be mesmerised by the sounds of pipes and drums from bands with 5 bands traveling all the way from across the south. Stage band which features the renowned Wight Hot Pipes and The Crew, ensuring no one can resist tapping their feet and dancing to the infectious rhythms.

Attendees will be delighted by traditional Scottish fiddlers and watch performances by talented Highland and Scottish dancers. But that's not all! Get ready to engage in some spirited arena events, including a mini tossing caber and haggis hurling, designed for participants of all ages. We also have a re- enactment group attending 42nd Royal Highland Regiment The black Watch.
Savour the delicious offerings of Scottish cuisine throughout the day, and for those looking to indulge, take part in our whiskey tasting sessions that celebrate the rich flavours of Scotland's finest spirits.
