Join Dave Mac, Ross, and George for three hours packed with great music, plenty of laughs, local chat, and the unexpected. From fascinating On This Day stories and Weird Wednesday Facts to music trivia, local history, and the occasional terrible dad joke, there’s always something to keep you entertained.

Dave has over 26 years of experience in hospitality, but music has always been his biggest passion. He’s been playing bass guitar in bands since the age of 15, was part of the very first intake at Platform One Music College, and loves sharing his enthusiasm for music, local events, and the Isle of Wight community.

Ross is the team’s resident music buff and local history expert. With an incredible knowledge of the Island and its past, he’s never short of an interesting fact, a hidden gem, or a story that brings the Isle of Wight to life.

George brings decades of experience from the motor trade, having spent over 50 years in the industry, including 20 years training many of the Island’s mechanics. Away from engines, he’s passionate about 60s and 70s music and has a lifelong love of amateur dramatics, adding plenty of character and humour to the show.

Whether you’re at work, on the road, or relaxing at home, The Wednesday Afternoon Show is packed with great company, brilliant music, and plenty of reasons to smile. Tune in every Wednesday from 1–4pm and join the conversation!
